Maybe a Hawaiian shirt and pants? It really doesn't matter, just like the Hoop De Doo. But if you want to dress a little nicer, you can. You shouldn't feel undressed in cargo shorts, but I'd personally wear something that I didn't wear to the parks all day.

If your shorts are nice I think they would be fine with a collared shirt. I'm not sure about all those Hawaiian shirt recommendations though. When it comes right down to it the only people that should wear Hawaiian shirts are Hawaiians and DlandDug. ;-)

While I've not been to the Luau in a few years (I used to go at least once a year until it started going downhill) I do pass Luau Cove sometimes as guests are going in. Hawaiian shirts are pretty standard, but there is also a lot of variety. In this case, our high is supposed to be 64 today. It won't be 64 at 5:15. I would be wearing a heavy coat and pants. I wouldn't do the Luau even for the early show, I'd go to the Hoop De Doo (if I went to a show).

My girlfriend and I went to captain cooks before thr show for snack and we saw doobie and rebeckah. I recognized them by doobies voice and I have seen like 2 photos on this site. I was to shy to say hi, sorry guys
