If memory serves me right, the magazine came out around '96 and shut down production in 2005 in time for DL's 50th. I'm guessing that there was about 40-45 issues? Am I right? Wrong? Close?

And out of curiosity, does anyone *have* all the issues?

I thought Wikipedia would have the answers, but not quite:

I do remember that during the 25th anniversery celebration at Walt Disney World, the resorts were giving a complementary copy in each room.

I can actually say it is one of the few magazines that I always read cover to cover, through the entire subscription. It was one of my favorites, and I looked forward to each quarter's issue.

I counted mine last night, and got 37, but I may have mislaid a few issues.

I actually found that out in the link that I provided. To answer your question, no I'm not counting the oldschool Disney News (although I have two isses, one from '94 and the other from '95). I'm only counting the "official" Disney Magazines of the 90s.

Now that I think about it, I probably could have renewed my subscription after the Winter 2000/01 issue.

We get Four of them every month because we have four passholders in the house. It does seem to me that they might figure out no single household wants four of the same magazine delivered every month. Perhaps it is a way to raise circulation numbers. I know I could get the other three cancelled, but I never think about it until they arrive. So we are flooding the doctor and dentist offices with them (sans address information, of course) But what a waste.

And not a great magazine if you don't have little ones in the house either.
