I asked the cast members what to do if we were going on the tour and she said just get in line. I was a little worried we were not going to get there in time but they started letting people in about 10 min. early. So by the time we got in and walked to the Dawa Bar we got there at 9:10. We signed in and waited until the rest of our group got there. When everyone got there they gave us a locker for our things took our weight and put on our harness. They were pretty uncomfortable but bearable. I was able to take my camera and clip on my harness. We went on a practice bridge first. It was fine. Our guides were Elle and Jon. They were really nice and funny. We put on headphones so we could hear the guides as we went along. First we went threw Pangani trail then we went threw a exclusive trail to the Hippo trainer. The trail was easy to go through. There were roots you had to step over and branches to watch out for if your tall. I'm 5' 2 so it wasn't a problem for me. We got to go met the hippo trainer. We got a good view of the hippos. We watched the trainer feed the hippos. One of the hippos went to the bathroom and the trainer said that's how they mark their territory. Pretty gross. Then we went on the trail again to the rope bridges. They had us go one by one. They had me go ahead of my son so I would be there when he got off. The bridges were really fun and not scary at all. My son liked it. You did see the alligators underneath you. My camera batteries died right after the bridge so I was really glad they were taking pictures of us. I haven't got my photo cd in the mail yet. After the bridge we got to get pretty close to the alligators and ask questions about them. Then we went in a jeep on the Kilimarie safari ride but we stopped in certain spots by the animals and the guides would tell us about them. We were right next to two giraffes! Pretty awesome! Then we got to see a baby elephant 9 months old. So cute! Then they took us to a pirvate spot on the savanna where we could see the animals. We also got lunch there. They gave us a canteen with some african food. We were given water canteens when we started the tour and they also had jungle juice to drink. There were some weird biscuits that didn't taste very good. But there was yogurt with granola and cranberries that was yummy. Also Dried Apricots, beef jerky, fish (that didn't look cooked so I didn't try that.) and they said you could eat the flower. The flower had no taste though. It really was a beautiful spot. It was so quiet and peaceful. After that they took us back to the Dawa Bar. They gave us each a rock and we got to choose what animal we wanted to help. A portion of the cost of the tour goes to help the animals. You could choose elephants, lions, Hippos or rhinos. I picked elephants and my son choose the lions. We had a group picture taken with the tour guides. It wasn't hot at all. It was a very memeroable experience that I got to share with my son and I am so glad we did it. After that we went to MK and it started pouring! I had thought my ponchos were left in my suitcase but they were not and I had to buy 2 more and I have 6 now. We were going to get a fast pass for Splash Mountain but it was for 3 hours later and we had dinner ressies at Rose and crown. It was super crowded and it was raining so we went back to our resort for a while. Dinner was at 5:30 for Rose and Crown. We went to our bus stop at our resort and we just missed it! So we got to Rose and crown a half hour late but we still got in after a 30 min wait. Our waitress was super nice and I liked her accent. When she brought our drinks she spilled my son's drink all over herself! "Oh that was cold!" she said. My son was trying really hard not to laugh at her. Then she dropped the forks and knifes. "Hello I'm clumsy." she said. I ordered the curry chicken and my son wanted the cheese pizza from the kids meal. The chicken was way too hot for me. Instant heartburn hot. The waitress asked if it was okay and I said it was too hot so she offered to bring me something else. So I tried the seared fish. The fish came on a bed of oil (gross) and the vegtables were too greasy. So I ended up eating my son's frys. I didn't want to complain again. Then I thought I would get desert thinking you can't go wrong with a fudge sundae. Wrong. They put apple chunks and grapes in it and the middle was watery. Good thing I am not a big eater. We walked around Epcot after dinner and saw some baby ducks with their mom. Very cute. There was a band playing and they were really good. They were playing the beatles songs. We went shopping then back to our resort. What a day!

Our group was supposed to have 11 people but 6 were no shows, so it was our 4 and one other - very cool! Great guides. As I recall, the bread was (very small) pita bread and the fish was smoked salmon. They've changed the menu at Rose and Crown since the one I found online and got rid of some things that sounded good, but I thought the Scotch Eggs were delicious and big enough to serve as an entree.
