I used to work in HR, and I'd see so many people retire -- with all of these plans to finally starting "living" in place -- only to die/become ill just weeks or months later. It was so depressing! My boss, who was only 59, died last year just 6 short weeks after retiring. My parents were both diagnosed with cancer just a month after retiring. See what I'm saying? So, although I think it's awesome - and important - to plan for the golden years, I'm not putting off ANYTHING that I can do TODAY!

I've seen some nice things but that thing floored me.
