At least with babies we didn't have to take them outside. Cat's well, although easier to take care of, do have the lingering odor that most owners are not even aware of, in their households. Fun to pet and listen to them purr, but otherwise very high maintenance. Don't even get me started on Vet bills.

If I absolutely had to pick, I would probably say cats. Unless you made me pick between cats and rottweilers or pugs specifically, then I'll pick the dogs! LOL! I give up!
