Normally I'd complain about putting more emphasis on something that's so low capacity, but given how few people entered the building in the past, it doesn't seem like that will be too big of a problem here

Of the Marvel characters, I think Guardians of the Galaxy seem the most Disney because they were popularized by Disney. At least Disney is overseeing the production of the Avengers films. To me, there's really nothing about Spiderman that says "Disney", even if they own him and show his animated TV show on their channel; with the number of reboots that film franchise has had recently, it practically feels like it's public domain

With the fickle DL locals, it makes sense to add him in a more out-of-the-way location that has been closed for a while, rather than just tossing him into the mix. I would imagine they were using the trendier Avengers characters to test if there might be a market for Spiderman. Since he's not a face character, I bet they would rather keep him around on a regular basis than Thor or Captain America

The article mentions that Thor will be back, but in the comments said Captain America won't be here in the fall, but they expect his to return in the future.

I was hoping they'd find a way to have Hulk, that would be so cool to have my kids picture with Hulk!

While extremely popular, the Marvel characters don't really "fit" in Disneyland to me. A little edgier, they really need their own land (or park, even). But maybe I'm just out of it and none of that really matters in Tomorrow-whatever land.

That's true! Maybe they're working on Hulk! I can't imagine how popular good ole' Hulk would be.

But if they could do a convincing Hulk, that would be really cool!

As somebody on the Blog pointed out, this will be opening the day after the Avengers Half Marathon. I wonder if that means that there might be some unannounced surprises, either during the race (at this point, I expect Spiderman) or for the M&G

But when the parks are that crowded, everybody is aware of the situation and does their best to ignore it. With that many people on the walkways, there's not a lot of wiggle room, so collisions tend to be pretty minor

And here's a photo from DLP:

In the worst case scenario, I assume it will still be better than the Nemo puppeteers in the Pixar Play Parade and Paint the Night. At least we won't have to look Spiderman in the eyes

Best part: if an obnoxious kid really annoyed the actor, he could say "Don't get me angry, kid. You wouldn't like it when I get angry" and still be in character.
