Mine is Halloween time at Disneyland. I am a bit of a nut, i actually prefer halloween to xmas. I love how everything is decked out in pumpkins, the halloween tree in frontier land, giant mickey in the front ahh its heaven for me. I like how they make over HM and SM and have special halloween foreworks. Last year i went over to DCA for the trick r treat and it was so much fun! I also took advantage of knotts and universals haunts and it did not dissapoint! Out of all the times of year i have been to DL October is my fav. The weather is beautiful and so is everything about DL.

When it gets dark early (and I still think it gets dark comically early in Southern California), you have a lot of time to appreciate it, even when the park closes early.

I also like the time from around October 28-November 8, where there are Halloween decorations in certain areas of the park, and Christmas is already in full swing in the others. It always makes me laugh when I go to New Orleans Square before Halloween and they're already set up for Christmas. : )

It seems DLR is doing more and more each Halloween, but I am waiting for still a bit more before I make a trip specifically for that time of year.

I have not been for Halloween but would love to go then. I keep trying to plan that trip but find it conflicts to much with the kids school/sports schedules....Maybe it will have be a solo trip......

I agree with that too. LOL
Halloween first and Christmas second. Bundling up and wandering around DL taking in the scenery. Ya can't beat that.
