This is a huge step backwards from the dark ride.

Yes, it should be in the mine, and outside, and maybe even past the cottage, but not inside it. I really don't think they'll be able to get any real sense of story on the coaster, since it's too short and coasters really have a hard time conveying a story. Many of them do a great job of setting a scene, but don't really tell riders any particular story, like Big Thunder. It's a very small plot of land, so the ride won't be very long, so there's really only so much they can do. I think I'm more upset that the expansion will be taking out a real attraction to replace it with meet and greets, when there are plenty of other spaces in the area that could be used for it. I don't think that the coaster will be any earth-shattering attraction, but it should be a nice diversion. And since it's in Fantasyland, it will have rediculous lines that make it not really a 'diversion', but it is what it is.

We've been going into the Cottage, for 40yrs, in the dark ride, in a mine CAR, so what's the difference? Unless they put the Silly Song/Cottage scene from the existing dark ride in another show building, i dont see how we are going to "celebrate the end of a work day with Snow White and teh Dwarfs"

Lame!!! Of course, Space Penguins hasn't been written yet (the author of the book is only 7 years old at the moment) but eventually it will, and be adapted into a hit film and a terrible theme park attraction. I just want to get in early to slam it before all the bandwagoners show up a quarter century from now. ; )

As well, in a "Green" movement all the spaceships will simply have holes for your feet to move through and there will be a nod to the long extinct attraction Autopia, in that they kindly ask you to bump the spaceship ahead of you to increase ride speed and attraction capacity. Of course only red rockets will be running and the blue rockets will be constantly in for refurbishment. There's also a smart vidphone app for it.
