I've also heard of others spending the night in Valencia and either getting an early start to beat traffic or relaxing there until after 9 am to drive the rest of the way to DL avoiding traffic. Originally Posted By SuzieQ Hi Mrs. B! I drive from Antioch (about 1.5 hours west of Angels Camp). Traffic through LA on I-5 in the mornings is pretty heavy. I would definitely pick someplace closer to Anaheim if you want to be there for opening without getting up at o'dark-thirty.
