I didn't really expect to go today but due to high winds my school was cancelled and it was my day off so I went. I got there at 11:30am and by 2:30pm I had done everything. If I had to theme today it would be a tie of "My 5 min day" or "DL turns Into Daycare California." I did BRIEFLY step into DCA but it was SO dead I left almost immediately. Anyhow, I rode the monorail in today just because I felt like it. The monorail is only going half of the track right now. I don't know what is going on the rest of the track but it was no big deal. Nemo construction was interesting. They have put in a big ramp down the middle (see pictures) and have begun to hide really big boxes into the cave. I can only assume these are new ride elements. Then again I hear a lot of things so who knows. Buzz was back up and operational. I still can only get to level 4 but oh well. I rode Space Mountain twice just because unless the ride was accessible to strollers it was empty today. The only real traffic of any note was at Fantasyland and even there it wasn't much. I went all over the place but hung out mostly at New Orleans because that was where all the entertainment was. They had a nice acapella group there and that normal jazz band. I stared longly at the Club 33 door and then laughed as this girl doorbell ditched the club. All I can say is it wasn't me!! Pirates was creepy because I went all by myself. I think going through Pirates by yourself is creepier than the Haunted Mansion. The gallery was fun. I got to learn about all these ideas that never quite got into the park. The most interesting of which were the ones about club 33 and the Meat Market that never was. I went to the Tiki Room (a must) and there was this one shy couple there who obviously didn't want to be the center of attention but kept picking the wrong tikis to sit in front of, everytime the tiki started talking they would rush off to the next tiki only to find that it was about to speak as well. Jose wasn't the only one sleeping at the Tiki Room but I wont go into that one. Johnny was at the piano. I met this really nice CM named Mike. His tag was class of 1973! He was working santitation but this guy knew everything about Maintstreet you could think of. I was going to leave the park after listening to a brief 3min organ song but this CM had so many great stories to tell that I had to stay longer. At the tram station I met some friends I haven't seen in over three years, that was way unexpected but then again everytime I go to DL something cool seems to end up happening. Unfortunately, staying longer meant I got stuck in traffic on the way home. Took the 57 but it was still no fun. I got home safe and sound. Thanks to a very wonderfull laughingplace member I have a new place to put my picture. Hopefully, I don't crash his site, but the pictures, in particular the concept photos, I think you will find are very interesting.

All this talk of DL being amazingly quiet is making me think more seriously of pushing up our return date to just a few weeks from now. My DD's birthday is 2/15, so I'm thinking of surprising her with a trip.

See how much your local LP'er info helps the rest of us plan our vacations? You're the best. Thanks again.
