We have three adults and a 13 year old. Thats part of the reason I book a resort view. The dream Tower rooms seem bigger. Thanks again!

They will tell you "okay, we have your request but we can't guarantee that's what you'll get." Trust me, that's what they will say. They only guarantee the type of view, not a specific tower or wing or anything else.

2). Check in early! The earlier you get there, the better chance you have of getting the room you want. It may not be ready yet (and probably won't be if you check in in the morning), but no biggie - you can leave your bags with the bellmen, go to the parks, and come back after 3:00.

The earlier you check in, the less chance they will have assigned one of the rooms you want to someone else. Mention at the desk that you reserved with a request for the Dreams tower, and they will place you there unless they're all gone; unlikely (though still not impossible) if you check in in the morning.

I tried calling directly to the DL Hotel to make reservations...but it seems that all ressies are now pushed over to the travel Co. Kind of a bummer. I really liked being able to make ressies directly thru the hotel....

"Resort view" can either be DTD or the pool area, so half of the Magic and Wonder towers are also resort view.

One thing I noticed when I made my room only ressies on the disny site, was there were two options. One for an upper pool view...one for a upper resort view. I assumed the resort view would be the dtd view. We shall see, i guess.

I do think there's a difference in the number you call if you want a package deal (room plus tickets etc.) vs. just a room, though I could be wrong about that.

One thing though, in doing some research online and looking at pictures the room seemed bigger than the standard ones I saw.

I think ours was half of a suite, dont know if they do that but there was an adjoinging door in the area with the closet/work desk and this area was also really large. we saw most of the rooms around us were suites also.

FYI when I booked the room through WDT they took our room preference then but said that we should call the hotel directly to request specific room tower. when I called the hotel they said I would have to call one or two days before arival? and I forgot, at check in they were going to put us in a room on the 4th or 5th floor of Wonder and I told the cm that I paid for the premium view room so they moved me up to the 10th floor.....they were very nice.

I was really hoping for Dreams tower but they said because of the construction the rooms there were limited and I think concierge may have first choice there all though they can not guarantee that either.

I also suggest you call multiple times. I called the DLH hotel directily about 3 times to make the request: once right after I had made the reservation, once about a month before, and once about a week before. When I called a month before they had no record of my previous request so I was happy I had called again and strongly suggest you do the same and the persistance was well worth it!
