I never did like her and knew from the moment I saw her she wasn't gonna be the sorta person I'd like. She was condescending in tone, acted like we were all "beneath" her and not intelligent, she once accused me of something I didn't do and when I PROVED it she didn't apologize (!), etc. So whenever I hear the name "Pat" I get all riled up and defensive inside and turn sour. Please please don't ever introduce me to a Pat or name your child that (Patrick and Patty would be okay though). So are there any names that make you cringe or grousey or shiver?

Oooh, the sting of that awful name brings shame to the rest of the Natalie's I've known. It's a really nice name, too. The last time I saw her she was on MTV and she was hanging out with a rock band and was a total (insert word for loose-moral woman here). I can only hope that she's changed as she's grown older.

With the exception of Jim in MercedCA and very few others, I cringe at the name because of many, many years of a baaaaaaad "boyfriend".
