Break dancing is pretty main stream, and Mickey has done pretty good at keeping up with the times. I prefer his advisors keep him doing these things in an appropriate way, though. You should also keep in mind that the culture and sensibilities are much different in France. I went to Paris Disneyland several years ago, and here are some things of note... it seems like everyone is smoking, the Haunted Mansion is a bit more macabre, and the cast members on Thunder Mountain point actual (albeit unloaded) six shooters right in your face. Mind you it's all done in a good fun, but you'd never see someone doing that in the States.

There are TONS of Videos of Disney Characters doing crazy dancing, like Pluto & Eeyore Break dancing, and Gideon getting Crunk, & I myself have seen many Disney Characters in California doing crazy things. They are CHARACTERS, they are supposed to be crazy. These are imaginary Characters, they can do anything. Disney, & Disney fans need to quit being so anal, and lighten up. Mickey was merely entertaining the crowds, which is his job, he's not hurting anyone.
