Same with the Little Golden Book titles "There's a Monster at the End of This Book" starring Grover and "Forrest Hotel". I also purchased a Disneyland charm bracelet like the one that I purchased when I was about 10 but lost. It featured Disneyland ride vehicles. What treasures from your childhood have you replaced or updated thanks to Ebay? -- or what do you wish you could find from childhood on Ebay?

So one Christmas, he found one that still had a box in great shape that had been uised very little - bought that for her and she said it was her favorite Christmas gift EVER.

Still have many other toys and memories in there. When I first joined ebay in 1999 the first thing I thought about searching for was childhood memories, that's when I realized that there was much I missed or didn't have, that I absolutely wanted to find. What I ended up doing instead was looking up the stuff I still had to see how much it was worth, then I bought similar items. By looking up the DL wall map I had, I began looking at other vintage Disneyland memorabilia, and I became addicted, for 5 years I bought old Disneyland souvenirs on ebay, it was a full blown sickness I tell ya. I sometimes search for a piece of Sheriff John TV memorabilia that I read about on the internet, but never even knew existed until a few years ago. It is a metal sheriff badge from the Sheriff John lunchtime brigade. Michael Richards (Kramer in Seinfeld) gave a speech at the Emmys about being a fan of Sheriff John and he had one of those badges that he found for sale, I have always been curious about them so now I want one.

But boy howdy, now if I could just find the *original* Letter People inflatables I'd be set!

They were hollow, so they didn't hold up too well. I used to have the full set. I love this dinosaur! The one we had when I was a kid never played because the workings had been submerged in water and had rusted years earlier. It was a tremendous find. I love ebay!
