When is Annual CM's Christmas Party happening this year?

If memory serves me correctly, the first week of December is when the CM have their Christmas parties. They are spread over 2-nights and as a result the parks close early. Last year (2006) the parties fell on Mon., Dec. 4th, and Tues., Dec. 5th. Instead of the parks staying open until 8:00 p.m., they closed early at 6:00 p.m.

I would like to avoid that week at all possible, and, if anyone might know of the dates for this year's CM's Christmas Party, I'd sure appreciate it. I realize it's a bit early and that the Disneyland Management Team may not have it scheduled yet, but I thought I give it a try.

    Thanks in advance!!!

It also sounds like there will be several of us there at that time. I believe that Pirate Princess and wonderingalice will be there also. I'll keep working on RAM1984. She and her DH are planning to go more towards Christmas but I'm thinking that there's nothing in the rules about sneaking in a couple of extra days.

CM's can bring their dependency listing if they are married with kids. But if they are unmarried they can only bring one guest.

There's nothing like Christmas in the park! Everything about it is special. One of my favorites is when you watch the fireworks from SW. There is such a special feeling in that area, after the fireworks, when White Christmas is playing and the snow is falling.

Quite a few of us will be there around the first week of December. It would be fun to have a mini-meet.

Our plane, hotel reservations and park tickets are booked! Now we just have to wait (and be patient) until the end of November. There is nothing better than the anticipation of a trip to Disneyland...well, other than being there of course!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday.

Shiva, I think it would be great to have a mini meet! I have yet to meet any LPers.

iGirl, what dates did you decide on?

Based on the information here and another website, which provides a visual graphic of crowd stats for the entire year, I'm hoping the park will be less traveled. But, I'm not totally counting on it. Ever since the 50th celebration, people's interest in visiting the Happiest Place on Earth has been renewed as evidenced in higher attendance during the typical slower times of the year (e.g., right after the Thanksgiving Holiday up to the week before Christmas). We surely have noticed it.

Have you booked your trip? When will you be going?
