The current line will be taken out and in will go a "Chevrolet Design Center" where guests can create their own car at touch screen stations surrounded by concept cars and new models. As of right now, I don't think anything new will be added to the ride itself (except a new "car decal" and name for the cars...SimCar), but I am assuming a new pre-show and video clips (You know, the TV and voice over throughout the ride from the man and women at the GM test center) throughout. The post show is where you can look at your car you previously created and how it did on the course...pretty much you get to see a "Baseball Card" for your car. A new "state-of-the-art" showroom will be created with Chevy cars (How state of the art can a showroom get, I think the current one is pretty swanky already IMHO. Thoughts? I am loving this. Not just interactive, but educational and fun. I feel like if parties are split up, of if the creation of the cars is individual, it would be fun to "compete" with friends to see which car is better for the environment, looks cooler, etc. Also, a minor detail, but the line is also getting "Lighting Effects" to which I went "THANK YOU HEAVENS ABOVE" since I hate the fluorescent high school classroom look of the current line.

I thought it was just my middle-aged eyes. Glad somebody else read it that way too. >>I'd love their to be an AA of that insipid pasty kid from those stupid films. After that they could always install "Mr Sparkly" as a disco ball at the old Pleasure Island 70's dance club
