    You okay with that? Good!

So... help that nice person now by giving her (or him, or them) some information that will allow her to choose stuff that you’ll really enjoy!

Please list here as many suggestions as you can for your Secret Pal. Tell him what kinds of things you like. Tell them what you don’t like. List specific things. List general things. Include really inexpensive stuff. But go ahead and include out-of-our-range stuff, too – those items might spark some great do-able gifting ideas.

There’s no set way to write your “Wish List†post, and no requirement that you include a certain amount of requests. Instead, there’s just the basic goal that you enable your Pal to feel more comfortable selecting gifts that are chosen especially for you!

Get over the fact that this feels “greedy†to you. It’s NOT! You’re HELPING your Pal here!

And, not to seem bossy or anything, but... SNAP TO IT! Your Secret Pal will be rarin' to go as soon as they find out they've drawn you!!!

    Oh! One more thing!

Please try to include items from the LP Store on your list! It’s a great way to thank the website that is making the Bash possible. Let's support LaughingPlace.com!

Have fun! Be creative! And enjoy getting to know other LP'ers through their posts here!

My favorite month is December because of Christmas and MY BIRTHDAY!!! My birthday is December 2.

My two favorite things in the world are Photography and Music. I love portraits, macabre, and music themed photography.

My favorite bands include Reel Big Fish, Save Ferris, and Avenged Sevenfold, but my ALL TIME favortie is Incubus. They are AMAZING! Memorabilia from any of these bands would be really cool.

Like every other 16 year old girl I have celebrity crushes. I adore Brandon Boyd and, of course, Johnny Depp.

Giftcards are awesome. My favorite places to shop are Torrid, Borders, Best Buy, Hot Topic, iTunes, and Ticketmaster (do they even have giftcards?).

I love Tim Burton movies. I do not own Nightmare Before Christmas on DVD or Corpse Bride.

I love horror and independent movies. May and Ginger Snaps (all three of them) are at the top of my wish list.

My favorite sports are football and hockey. MY fave football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and my fave Hockey team is the L.A. Kings.

My favorite Disney characters are Buzz Lightyear and Captain Jack Sparrow. Anything that has to do with Buzz or Jack would be awesome.

I love to paint but I'm in desperate need of an easel. Even a small tabletop one would rock.

be creative! homemade goodies and sweets are AWESOME!!!

I look foward to being bashed! lol

My favorite holiday is Halloween. Any decorations you can find on clearance is fine by me! You can get some really good deals after Halloween is over. I like decorative lights, tombstones, candy dishes...not so much candles though.

I do celebrate Christmas but don't really need anything regarding the holiday. I'm pretty set. (unless it's scrapbooking supplies!!!)

I am a BIG Miami Dolphins fan. Anything other than lapel pins would be cool.

My favorite Disney character is Pluto, with Jack Skellington coming in at a close second.

I would love gift certificates. Any restaurant in the Los Angeles area, Best Buy, AMC Theater, eBay, Target, Jiffy Lube, Wal-Mart, JoAnns, or good 'ol Disney dollars!

    Any scrapbooking supplies are appreciated.

Chocolate covered macadamia nuts and Smarties are my favorite sweets, unless you are near a See's Candy Shop and have an inkling to buy bordeaux...YUM!

I collect all Haunted Mansion things.

I'm a size 9 shoe and a size XXL shirt.

    I really love horror movies.

I like markers and writing pens.

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty and would LOVE front seat covers (maybe Disney or Miami Dolphins).

I really love Surprises...so surprise me!

    Hi Bash Pal,

I suppose it helps to list my hobbies. I obviously love Disney – my favourites are Mickey, Pocahontas, Maleficent, Eeyore, Pluto, Dumbo, Jack Sparrow and Stitch (an odd crowd, I know). I have a real passion for travelling. I don’t get to the Disney theme parks nearly as often as I’d like, so anything that’s from there or reminds me of these places would be wonderful – postcards, pencils, premium annual passes … ;) Actually, If you DO happen to have close access to Disneyland, I bought this great magnetic Stitch pen on my last trip which has broken and would love a replacement, or anything similar. My favourite rides are Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. I’m not a BIG fan of pins.

On the not-getting-to-the-US that often subject, I would appreciate any sorts of Candy we don’t get in Australia, like M-Azing Bars, Peanut butter M&Ms or Milk Duds!

After Disney, my biggest hobby is scrapbooking. I would especially appreciate any scrapbooking items with Disney characters on them. I’m also a huge fan of reading and do most of my shopping at Borders.

I also love music – my favourites being Eurythmics (Annie Lennox) and Tori Amos. I’m not sure if that’s remotely helpful, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I’m a BIG fan of Christmas so anything Christmassy would be lovely. Also anything Halloween (a little late I know, but again, we don’t have much of it here). I need a new calendar and would love a 2007 Disneyland one.

Also, my favourite colour is purple and I love anything striped or polka-dotted. I love any New Orleans or New Orleans square memorabilia and all animals (mostly dogs – I have two miniature poodles).

And finally, if it’s helpful, I’m currently one year away from being a teacher.

I also love surprises, it doesn’t matter how big or small!! Let me know if you need any more information, although I think this covers most of it. Thanks heaps :)

    I always find it weird to make a list of things I like as it seems weird but I also know I really appreciate knowing what my pal wants, so here goes;

I love Halloween, the purple and orange is fab.
It's just so hard to find things here for Halloween or Fall, so anything little that you can find in the after sales would be well received. Especially pumpkin items, candy dishes, candles or candle holders, Voltives, table cloths.

    I'm really into country decorating.
I purchase a magazine from America called "Country Sampler" and sooo wish we could find all those little items here in Aus, especially the candles in jars ( pumpkin spice is my fav smell ) and candle/tart holders.

Snowmen they are adorable and I love them and collect them!
Gingerbread men, houses, decorations I also collect these.

Disney, I love Pluto, Stitch and Eeyore and really would like anything you find for me from Disney, especially postcards, pens, pins, keychains, anything that's easy for you to ship!

Finally if you are still with me, I would LOVE any toys for my boys!
The really love these furry toy ducks that quacked I bought from Petco while in LA and they are on their last legs they have been quacked and quacked.
I could not believe your range of dog toys, it's massive!
Any toy would be happily licked I'm sure!

NB.Please don't send any edible food treats for the dogs, as disneychica sent some to us in a previous WB and quarantine took them out of the parcel before we got them. Sob sob!

Thanks once again for being my pal and I can't wait to know WHO you are! :)

Secondly, the attention on LP is so wonderful so ecards, messages, jokes, games will thrill me. If you want to confuse me, send me on a mystery trail, it is all cool with me.

I will be grateful for any effort you put forth!

    Ok, here is my list:

    Cats:
I love & collect quirky, funky cat figurines; I am not into cute though.

    Baseball:
Die-hard baseball fan, my team is the San Francisco Giants. I enjoy reading historical books about baseball. I usually get a SF Giants calendar each year.

    Candles:
Love all kinds of candles. Favorite scents are Lavender, Gardenia, Lilac, Pine & Cinnamon.

    Soaps, Lotions & Perfumes:
My favorite perfume is Chanel 22; scents are Lavender, Gardenia & Lilac. I love all the aromatherapy stuff – yes from Target too!

    Coffee, Tea & Coffee Mugs:
Huge coffee & tea drinker. I love all the mint flavors. I frequent Starbucks. I like Mickey coffee mugs.

    Christmas ornaments & figurines:
    I collect snowmen, “It’s a Wonderful Life†town & figurines & small nativity scenes.

Journal Books, Stationary & Blank Cards:
I love to write & keep articles, cartoons, etc in journal books. I like flowers (orchids), San Francisco scenes, Yosemite/nature scenes, funky art, cats & some Christian themes (not cute).

    Disney:
I collect Mary Poppins stuff, Mickey is my other favorite. I have the Alice watch with a double row of Italian charms, so I need Disney charms to fill it up. My favorite Disney characters are Snow White, Mary Poppins, Mickey, Alice and the Evil Queen

***I have fallen head over heels for the Shag Retro merchandise. I have the five prints of the lands, the large tote bag & coin purse. I love the pens, the notepads, coasters, key chains – oh, my god the new purse, tray, lunchbox, any of it I would scream in delight over. It doesn't have to be Disney either, I just love Shag.***

Candy: Sees pecan buds, milk chocolate fudge with walnuts, Almond Joys, peanut clusters. Mmm, mmm, good.

Pens: I can never get enough pens. I like all the different Disney ones. I like to draw and color too. I'm not above a cool coloring book.

Coca-Cola: I collect Coke things but not the Polar bears.

Cooking: I like to cook, so cookbooks would be cool, I like to entertain so books about table settings, themes, party favors, etc is neat. Also wine glass charms, salt n pepper shakers, little cooking tools are neat too.

Pets: I have a Boxer – Sammy, a Chihuahua/terrier mix – Simba & my kitty Nicia; they love treats and toys too.

    Music:
I love Christmas music. Especially the 50’s crooners, big band, jazz and blues stuff.

    Tools:
I am a gizmo & gadgets chick. I use many hand tools, like a Leatherman, etc for my Indian stuff, so I like all the miniature things.

    Bags/Totes/Purses:
I like bags & totes that I can wear over my shoulder and across my body. I like funky, multi-colored stuff. I love and use all the different small coin purses that I can stick in my pocket or hold in your hand with a small strap. Especially if they will hold some cash and credit card, driver’s license too.

    Misc Tidbits:
I have double pierced ears, I wear pearls a lot. I have an Italian charm bracelet. I like note pads, etc things with my name on it. My favorite color is red, favorite number is 22, I am a Gemini. I can always use return address labels.

I would appreciate you sharing anything homemade that you have created yourself, or something that represents where you are from or something from your culture.

Just as an FYI, I am not into ducks, chicks, cows, rabbits, country look or stuff, I am an urban gal. :)

    Pre-thanks to whoever draws me!!!

    I LOVE Christmas and decorations!
Especially something from your home town or handmade to remind me of you!

I don't think this will mean much to you as he's not popular there but I like Robbie Williams and have tickets to his concert in Dec!

This also shows my personality to you that I'm very forgetful! LOL

Sean & I are supposed to provide a wishlist. Sean hasn't given it much thought but I know we both love reading..

me: I usually go for books about history, travel history, and shipping (like whaling or true life adventure type stuff where ships get sunk and people get hungry and eaten by sharks, and then people like Bob Ballard finds their cargo 200 years later)

sean: baseball history, California history, animation, Disney trivia, Harry Potter..

and we both like Harry Potter so any trivia or neat new websites or fanfic is great.. we're old enough to read the naughty 'ship' stuff but Sean doesn't get into that. I don't mind reading HP shipping stuff as long as it's not too freaky.. some of the fans really jump the shark you know?

Sean likes Soduko but claims he's seen it all, well prove him wrong for me ok?? =)

We both like webcomics.. "Two Lumps" is my fave as well we both like MegaTokyo.

Sean just got a Nintendo DS Lite so anything with more adult stuff we can download or hints or tip sites are great. We have 3 games for our DS Lite: Brain Age, Big Brain Academy (which I like better) and Kim Possible:Kimmunicator (which is kind of neat but difficult for a kids game IMHO) I like puzzle games like Tetris and breakout and Zoo Keeper. =) Sean likes stuff with numbers and mine sweeper type stuff.. (ok maybe not).

We're getting new stuff for our new apartment so any tips on decorating in small places is good..

    -postcards (love postcards!)
    -ecards
-pens with ink in them (not necessarily the pen you swiped at the bank, we got that covered)
-cat treats are always good.. they're especially fond of Salmon or Chicken Temptations but we have to watch it because the vet said Kiki was getting a little 'fluffy' so we have them both on Indoor Formula which seems to work fine.

We love the holidays but we don't hang anything with glass or breakable stuff. We (and the cats especially) like those decoupage ornaments that don't seem to shatter if they fall of the tree or get batted around by the cats.

We like Hallowe'en and chocolate. Sean loves Peets coffee although he does drink at Starbucks on occasion.. (his company rewards him with those things sometimes and Starbucks gets confused and sends him free happy customer coupons.. evil I tell you!) I like dove Promises and reeces cups and reeces pieces, Sean will eat almost anything that shows up.. he likes M&Ms though.. plain or peanut. We're not allergic.

I can't say we collect anything. We're into tiki stuff and Shag. I can't afford shag but I like his stuff and I like the stationary and napkins and notecards. I like Tiki stuff in General, not just Disney. Sean is actively colleting the Main Street pieces and so any hints you hear on the grapevine (that haven't been posted already by Sean) about new pieces are great.. or tips on displaying the stuff away from Cats is good. (know a good transparent aluminum dealer??)

    please save your money ok?
NO MUGS, no fancy girly things, no cologne, no aftershave, no smelling things, no candles (Alexander is a pyro)

NO PINS.. (just say no!) no figurines or tchotchies (sp?)

YES: Tiki Quarterly mag (just an issue not subscription), articles you have seen or read in person or online about: disney, tiki stuff, walt, photos with adversts painted on walls (that's me) Disney trivia, old photos of disney.. fun quizes, "stump the chump" sort of Click & Clack kind of car or otherwise trivia (NPR type stuff) Train info/ stuff.. found objects, interesting photos or stats, California sunsets.. your sunset.. funny youtube videos ( but NO SPAM) generic hello Hoops & Yoyo or otherwise stuff, IKEA articles, Miyazaki, Iron Chef America, "Good Eats" Alton Brown (but no to Bobby Flay or Rachel Ray.. annoying! oh and NO to the king of Annoying "BAM!" guy.. ugh!) sushi coupons, dining suggestions, pictures of food, local favorites that don't involve pork rinds.. (sean goes for kettle chips though). Canadian or weird local chocolates are fun and neat.. (personally still trying to find a "SKYBAR" they used to make in New Jersey I think (it was on "UNWRAPPED" and I have yet to try it).

    Candles (I have tons)
    lapel pins (don't collect)
    socks (I have tons)
    coconut anything (yuck!)

I think that about covers it. Thanks!

    Ideal gifts for me:
#1 with a bullet: CD's of music that I don't know. I'm reluctant to tell you what kind of music I like, because then you might send me more of that and I honestly don't need anything more by the bands I already know. What I love is finding out about new bands that *you* like. The *best* present you could give me is a mix CD of your favorite music.

    Also:
    - sweets or really anything edible (and vegetarian--no beef jerky, please)
    - cat toys
    - letters, e-mails, gifts, visits, introductions to interesting people, invitations to events -- basically anything that gets me out of my home/work/home rut

I collect handbags. I love all things tiki and leopard print. My favorite band right now is Ape and their singer just happens to be this fun tiki carver named Crazy Al. He has stuff on ebay all the time. I have a bar now again at home so bar stuff is always nice to have. Booze. Wine. Mixers, fun mid-century things. Do you have a favorite recipe?

I like both kind of charms, the Italian kind and the easy clip-on kind. Find an inexpensive handbag or tiki one? I'd squeal and be happy!!!!!

I love scented candles, especially those ones that smell like someone is baking! I don't need holders or accessories, though, just the wax parts. :)

I adore perfume and I have an antique table in my room full of gorgeous scents and various sizes of bottles and shapes and colors. I don't have a signature scent because I gave up on finding one years ago. I love getting those sample vials for free, hint, hint. Or those miniature bottles!

I love dark chocolate and M&M's. When they came out with dark chocolate M&M's I about fainted.

I collect Spode's Christmas tree china and Franciscan Starburst china. You'd be amazed what you can find at Goodwill and eBay.

I adore charity. The best present for me would be a gift for someone else in need. I love doing those secret santa things at the mall where you get assigned a kid and you get to buy them Christmas. Or just donate a few bucks in Santa's caldron. Or overtip your waitress. Or give a sandwich to your local homeless person. Or a tent. Whatever. Buy CHOC Holiday cards for your family this year that you can find at choc.org.

I love homemade Christmas things. Homemade ornaments would be great! I also love ones with the year on them, and yes, you can hand-make these, too!

I love getting links to silly things on youtube. One of our receptionists is always finding clever two-three minute clips so he sends them on. Not too long to interrupt work for forever, but enough to smile. I loved that one with the guys on the treadmill, if that helps.

I read books. I got turned on to travel stories, so now I'm looking for good ones. Have a favorite and a link to a review?

I love to travel. I love getting funky luggage ID tags. You can never have too many, especially when it's late at the airport and you need to find your luggage quickly on the luggage-go-round.

I love Ursula and I adore that she's hard to find or I'd be overloaded. There is a lot I don't have...

I also love Pluto. And Minnie. And pink things. And shopping.

I love Shag, the artist. We named our fish after him. I have seven Shag handbags. I love handbag charms, cell phone charms. I love vintage Disney and Disneyland things.

I adore Walt Disney. I can't hear the opening day speech without getting dust in my eyes. I believe in his ideals of how he ran the studio and dealt with employees.

I just got my first iPod and still am learning how to use it! I also just got a fancy new digital camera so fancy printing paper would be groovy, too.

I love free online games. I have a few still over the years from the Bashes of Christmases Past that I still play. Someone sent me free Yatzee online! I spend a lot of my time at my desk, waiting on clients, so ... what do you have to share???

I adore Doobie and Rebekah, so anything from the LP store would TOCK!!!! I can never have too many antenna balls since I use them and I live in L.A. I don't have to bring out the Bride of Disneystein, do I?

I try to make a big list not because I'm greedy, but because I've been doing the bash every year and it's easier as a basheree to have a lot to choose from.

I would love hot chocolate packets.

I guess the only things I don't care for are coconut anythings (I like the scent, not the food) and things with onions!!!!

and my favorite cookie is chocolate chip!

I am a HUGE reader. They know me at our used bookstore :) I'll read anything. I even read the side of the cereal box when I'm having breakfast!

I do a lot of digital photography and recently bought a really nice camcorder so I can learn to edit and make DVD's.

I scrapbook, so stuff for that is always welcome.

I really enjoy listening to music. Like with the reading, all styles are acceptable (except gangsta rap, LOL). Some friends recently gave me CDs they made of their favorite songs. They are amongst my favorites! Maybe you could make me a CD? Tell me why those songs are so great to you!

My dog, Jake, is my daytime companion and buddy. I love to spoil him, so feel free to spoil him as well!

I have two Italian (add a link) charm bracelets. One is for places I've traveled, and the other is for Disney. It's still got some blank spaces waiting to be filled in, so maybe a charm of your favorite character?

I've really gotten into cooking lately, too. So a copy of your favorite recipe would be appreciated.

Hubby and I are also into wine, though not wine snobs, lol. There are so many neat little gadgets out there. Wine charms, foil cutters, etc.

I drink coffee and tea. I love my special mugs. And, gee, I also love chocolate! LOL

I really enjoy simple things. A hand made card. An e-card. A puzzle or mystery to solve. Just a 'HELLO!' These are the types of things that really bring a smile to my face.

This is my first LP Winter Bash and I’m both excited and nervous at the same time. I’m pretty easy to please and appreciate the thoughtfulness and kindness of others. Thank you in advance for being my Bash Pal.

I celebrate Christmas, so any Disney themed or dated Christmas ornaments/decorations would be lovely.

Homemade treats and gifts are priceless and always appreciated.

I tend to collect Disney watches. I have a couple dozen character watches already, but a gal can never have too many accessories. I also appreciate Disney costume jewelry (bracelets and necklaces – I no longer have pierced ears).

I also collect antenna balls. My car likes to show her Disney with new antenna balls for each season, sometimes with a change each week. No worries about duplicates, as you never know when some mean person might decide they need that antenna ball more than I do.

My favorite classic Disney animated movie is Cinderella (I’m a sucker for a sappy, happy ending). I’ve always been partial to Chip and Dale in the cartoon shorts (well, Chip more than Dale, really).

I am helplessly addicted to office supplies – pens, mechanical pencils, notepads, sticky notes, that kind of thing. Disney themed, a plus.

Most of my Disney trips are to Disneyland (as a Californian, I consider it my ‘home’ park). Stuff from any of the Disney parks would be great – magnets, keychains, postcards, the afformentioned office supplies, what-have-you.

Chocolate (milk not dark or white) and cookies made great snacks. I also like hard candies, like Jolly Ranchers and fruity/flavored candy canes.

I enjoy fruit scented candles and fruity hand lotions, not flowery stuff.

For music, I tend to enjoy 80’s music – of the New Wave variety, not Top 40 stuff.

I’m not a coffee or tea drinker. My caffeine comes from Diet Coke and chocolate.

    I’m not a pin trader/collector.

I like dogs and bunnies (I’ve had both as pets), but am not fond of cats.

To relax in the evenings, I enjoy doing cross-stitch & needlework projects and fill-it-in crossword puzzles.

I like all the fun, free stuff like e-cards, online games and quizzes, you know that stuff we all post on LP from time to time. Just the little things make me smile.

Thank you for being my Bash Pal. I can’t wait to get started!

Might as well start with Disney. Anything with Mickey on is cool. I like the old Pie - Eyed Mickey with his gloves and shorts and yellow shoes. I don't like Minnie and therefore tend not to buy anything with her on it, even if it also features Mickey. I would love any Hunchback goodies or Treasure Planet goodies as they are hard to find. I also like NBC. I'm not really a pin collector, but I do own a few, any that fit into the above catergories is fine. If possible what would be cool is to get a pin for my nephew he started collecting at DLP earlier this year and is sticking to a Space theme. He has no US pins so it would be cool to help his collection. Anything Stitch or Buzz or featuring a Space themed attraction would be cool. I don't mind ebay purchases at all.

Where it becomes very easy for all my US pals is when it comes to food. Pick me something up with your grocery shopping and I'll mucho happio. I love Kool-Aid, but it's very hard to buy here. I love Peanut Butter Candy, but ditto. Also Grape and Root Beer flavors are non existant here. I like spicy foods. Last year I got some chilli and taco mixes and I was very happy indeed. Also, one of the best US inventions ever was the Sloppy Joe. Please send me some! And Candy Corn and knobbly Cheet-o's, not the puff kind the other sort. I could go on and on and on.

Music wise a mix CD would be cool. I like all sorts of music. I'm quite into a bit of Bluegrass at the moment. I love anything I can sing along to. The Disney Karaoke CD's would be cool. I'm really into Weird Al at the moment, but his albums are hard to find in the UK. I'll probably try to find the new one, but I'd love any of his older stuff.

I love Muppets and Henson, I did really well for that stuff last year, but I'd like the new christmas album. Scooter is my favorite.

I love Halloween. Anything with pumpkins is fine by me. If I didn't collect Disney my other possible collections would be Pumpkins, Frogs, Eggcups or Snowmen. Oh, also Seals. That's an unusual bunch!

I do celebrate Xmas and as I said already I love Snowmen and Gingerbread Men and Candy Canes and that lovely cinnamony Xmas smell. That's christmas to me. I'll happily receive anything Christmassy.

I hate Raisins and any kind of dried fruit, so that's a huge no-no!

I'd love some cool wintery recipes. Soups and things I can cook in one pot.

I quite like online games, things that are quickfire with a bit of tactics thrown in, like Tetris!

I'm going to post this now as I'm in the middle of a storm and I'm scared I'll lose power. There'll probably be more to follow!!!
