I'm staying at the Howard Johnson's most likely, and it might be a bit far for us to walk with 2 young kids every night.

Was considering using this to get us too and from everyday. Especially since we go to and from the park usually twice a day with a break for swimming at mid day.

Is it efficient? Anyone have any info at all?

I would like to say I recommend it, but the routes seem to vary and I've never used the route that services the Howard Johnson.

Just know that it can be really crowded at park closing. Make sure you get the daily pass. That is $4 and a single ride is $3.

We've stayed at HoJos with two young kids and I think that by the time you've stood around waiting for your bus and then shuffled on and gone through the lights and everything, you're better off walking. Just my two cents :)

I've never taken ART, I just can't really imagine that A) The time you save will be worth the money and the wait for the shuttle, and B) The wait and "rest time" on the shuttle will be worth it. Once you're on Harbor, you're looking at a 5 minute walk door to door. Tops.

I keep going back and forth as to the hotel too. I'd rather be right across the street from the Pedestrian entrance, but those hotels are charging more and I like the Howard Johnson's look wise and the pool better, so I don't know what to do.

What did you think of Hojo's ecdc?

I love HoJo, but if you have to buy 4 ART tickets a day, the closer hotels' prices may look better :)

Do you really think you could walk to Hojo's from Harbor in 5 minutes?

    At the Embassy Suites....no problem.
Plus, the pick-up site at the park....to go back to the hotel.....is a close walk from the gates...
