Though I think a lot of that was luck. Just know that it can be really crowded at park closing. Make sure you get the daily pass. That is $4 and a single ride is $3.

Just my two cents I've never taken ART, I just can't really imagine that A) The time you save will be worth the money and the wait for the shuttle, and B) The wait and "rest time" on the shuttle will be worth it. Once you're on Harbor, you're looking at a 5 minute walk door to door. Tops.

Going back to the park was a longer ride - took about 1/2 hour and stopped at a few other places first. I don't know if they've changed their route in the meantime.

So - if you're going to the park, it's quick (no more stops); if you are coming back from the park, it's the last stop on the route.
