    I've been holding out for the long-rumored "Special Edition", but everytime I hear, it's bogged down with legal or creative issues. It's often on sale or in the Wal-Mart cheapo bin, maybe I'll just have to take the plunge one of these days.

    I also failed to mention I recently picked up the Alien Quadrilogy. Despite having the stupidest name of any DVD (what the heck is a "quadrilogy" anyway - talk about inventing words) it is extremely cool. Sure, the third movie was doomed from the start and the fourth movie derailed mighty fast after a fairly decent first-half. But the set is a gem.
