Grab your DVDs, books and gadgets and run the barcodes past the iSight and it creates a library of stuff you own complete with images ("cover art") and descriptions from Amazon. It reads out the titles as it loads them in.

You can even drag items to people in your address book when you loan them out, or upload your catalogue to the web. It's not super-productive but I'm getting a huge kick out of it. The demo has a 25 item limit so if your a Mac user give it a shot.

Anyone have any other cool software suggestions?

The coolest software I have (not that cool to some I'm sure) is my Corel program - I haven't played with it that much yet but it came with my digital camera and its so nice to be able to clean up pictures and make them look really nice. I still miss my plain ol' Photoshop program that was on our old computer!!

Have you seen the online version of Photoshop? (it's still in beta)

I think it's still US only so I haven't been able to try it out, but it looks pretty whizzy too.

I also downloaded a little free utility for the Mac called "Freedom" which allows me to lock myself off the web for a while (I'm easily distract - LOOK –  Something SHINY!)

I used to use corel draw too in school. I also loved Quark Express then too - I actually have an old version of it I found at a yard sale that I just haven't had a chance to install yet to see if it works or not.

The Corel program I have is called Corel Paint Shop Pro.
