This birthday would probably fit right in with the Mellow Thread (we spent the evening at our church's family fellowship soup night ... which means someone else was watching the kids!) Thanks all, for your birthday wishes. At 34, I feel pretty good about where I am in life. I don't think a lot of people would take a quick glance at me and feel much envy. Financially, we're on shaky ground, and I am quickly rolling toward that 'round' shape from the "guys rules" thread. But ... I have a wonderful wife whom I love and who loves me dearly. I have a good job in education, where I can be creative, make a difference, and earn a living. I have three kids who are healthy, happy, and full of love. And I still have a lot to learn. So raise a glass to 34 (and more) great years! Cheers!
