Trattoria Meals with Child Under Three

Hello All, we are going to be going to Disneyland with our little one for the first time in November. We are planning on doing the new World of Color dinning option at Trattoria. The kids menu says for children 3 to 9 (I think). My little one will be two. What are the options for him. If I don't buy him the kids meal will we not get a ticket for him for the World of Color? Thanks. I know I am planning this way ahead of time but I just cant wait to take him, its going to be so much fun and the planning is almost as much fun as going.. almost =)

If he's under the age for the dinner, then he won't need a ticket to get in to the viewing area. You guys can have your meal and get your tickets, and just bring him along with you.

There was a family near me on Friday that had a small child (stroller included), and they were allowed in without a ticket for her. I believe that's the age where they don't need park tickets yet either, so they would have no way to get the FastPass viewing option, so they're just let in where ever the parents go.

Thanks so much! As far as the meal goes is it enough for him to eat off our meals, we will have four adults or can I order him something off the regular menu. I am not a huge eater so I figure we could split a meal, I know portions are usually just too big for me to finish and with four adults I am sure we will have enough.

I don't know the official policy on food for kids under 3, but if you don't mind sharing, I doubt they would really care. It will probably be up to the individual server, but I honestly have no idea.

You'll have plenty of food. I don't think there will be a "regular menu" available to order off, but if you needed something additional for the baby, I'm sure they'd come up with something (like pasta with butter or whatever - the servers are great and very helpful).
