We should be in western Europe from April 19 to May 1 and I can drop in the Dis Resort Paris any 3 of those days. 2 questions: how would you assess the crowd factor on weekdays and more importantly the prospects of Space Mnt., BTM, Phantom Manor being operational; have you heard any news on the refurb. schedule about those 3 attractions? (I checked the Dis Resort Paris official site but it doesn't spell anything out in April-- just park hours) Also, are you still interested in Amsterdam? How about you X, can you make it to Amsterdam the second part of April? Yes, it is short notice but I need a vacation badly after tax season.

The worst queues tend to be for Big Thunder, Peter Pan, Dumbo and the Lion King Stage Show. Also, Space Mountain ebs and flows. If you are interested in experiencing DLP's fantasyland, I would head there for ropedrop or alternatively Big Thunder. Everything else should be manageable provided there are no school holidays anywhere. In terms of planned closures/refurbs, I understand there will be few closures. The Mark Twain will be down from the 28th onwards, but the Molly Brown will be returning for the first time since the fire. Amsterdam is a maybe, but the timing is not great given work and family committments. Maybe though, keep me in the loop. Also, it would need to be a weekend. While at DLP, the do not misses include all the e-tickets (except the terrible Indy Coaster). The Castle Gallery and Dungeon with Dragon. Be sure to dine at Walts. Explore the caves of Adventureland. Don't miss the Lion King and Tarzan Stage shows (much better than anything in WDW except "Finding Nemo". In the Studios, do not miss Cinemagique. Also, you will be able to experience the new parade!!! Very cool. If you need anything else, let me know. Also, check through this section for my dining guide and other tips.

And I'll keep you posted if and when I can secure passage and lodging across the Atlantic. We are in the early planning stages and to complicate this trip I am looking to stop off in the Wash. DC area to stay with my brother for 6 nights and hit Bush Gardens Williamsburg, some Civil War battlefields and the Smithsonian museums. We'll be coming from San Francisco.
