Paradise Piers Mickey Mouse logo is leaving! I wonder if they'll take the whole head down or maybe leave just the circular face portion and add Paradise Pier signage above near the top of the hill like in BlueSkyCellar. Gosh, I wonder If they'll leave CaliScreamin untouched after the Mickey head is complete removed. It's popular enough right now, but it'll be a sore thumb in Paradise Pier if continued to be left a six flags quality themed queue without being in a lavish themed queue that stagges the excitement of boarding. hopefully, they'll enclose it. Any word on CaliScreamin upgrades anyone, BEAN?

But by all accounts, regarding things like the deletion of the new queue at the ferris wheel and the admission that a new queue for Screamin' isn't coming anytime soon, I think that PP will look like a hybrid of ugly ver. 1.0 and Disney quality lovely version 2.0 for years to come. Only AFTER they fix up every single square inch of PP 1.0 will it be acceptable.

And a lot I'd love to see improved. But I have never, ever, thought - what this park needs is having a Mickey on the ferris wheel instead of on the roller coaster.

I guess I was still hoping for a whole re-work of everything wrong in PP after the DCA re-do announcement was made year ago. PP's real jewel over this entire PP makeover may just be Midway Mania, possibly after the Little Mermaid.
