    TokyoSweets thanks for the thoughts.

Here's a video of the entire new Tiki Room show at Tokyo Disneyland, Stitch's Aloha E Komo Mai. Of course, I have no idea what the story is since I don't know Japanese, but basically it seems Stitch disrupts the show by interfering with almost every number. The original Tiki Room song is not used at all in this verison, instead opening with Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, which Stitch interupts by shutting off the lights.

When they come back on, Stitch has written "Aloha E Komo Mai" on the doors, which makes the birds sing the song of the same name. They then do the Luau part of the original Tiki show, but Stitch cuts in by blowing horns and the like. Then the birdmobile comes down, but Stitch somehow snuck little plastic Stitch ears on all the girl birds! Jose(the only one of the original four birs in this show) asks why the girls are wearing them and they get insulted and they go back up.

Then the lights go out and Stitch appears in the middle of the room, speaking in a deep voice and pretending to be a Tiki God. He then reveals himself and I guess the Tiki birds scold him and convience Stitch to stop carrying on, and the show ends with Stitch and the birds singing the second verse of Aloha E Komo Mai.

While still not as good as the original Tiki show or the previous Tokyo show "Get the Fever!", its still a huge step up from Under New Management because I like the fact this show sticks to Polynesian music unlike UNM.

See the whole show for yourself here:

And it's certainly a shorter show, isn't it? 8 minutes, compared to the almost 17 minutes of the original 'Enchanted Tiki Room.'

How do Japanese guests feel about The Tiki Room? Is it popular?

Is Stitch a popular character in Tokyo Disneyland?

I wonder if Disneyland in CA could get a Christmas version of the Tiki Room starring Stitch. That would be kind of a fun seasonal thing a la The Country Bear Christmas Show.

It was pretty much a walk on, just like all the other Tiki Rooms (dated, to be sure...). Definitely not a "must see" on anyones' list.

***Is Stitch a popular character in Tokyo Disneyland?***

    Totally.

They redecorated the whole PARK in honor of Stitch and ran a parade and everything...Stitch is probably second only to Pooh and Mickey and Minnie (well, that'd be 4th, but you get the point...)

    As for this idea:

I LOVE it! I've wanted them to do that for a while now, and it could be so simple. It could be Mele kelikimaka with Lilo & Stitch. Bring in a Stitch AA like the one at TDL, and maybe add a Lilo AA, or at least have her present somehow. This way, it would be seasonal, so the original version would not go away, but we would also get something new. I have no fait that they would do it, but it's a great idea.

As for my thoughts on the show, granted I'm only going by a YouTube video and will have to wait until after I next visit TDL to offer a full opinion, but I have mixed reviews. I think more thought was put into Stitch than creating a decent storyline and show here. The narration is lost on me here but 8 mins is just to short and no Tiki Room theme song, I'm starting to question why not just remove the birds too and be done with it.

Has the pre show with the rapping birds been changed at all?

It is exactly the same AA as Stitch's Great Escape! Just blue doggie rather than six-armed alien.
