If need be, they can also always take the shuttle-- however, we didn't find the ART shuttle service to be all that reliable. The walk does seem long at night if you've done a full day at the park (opening to closing) but there are always other options if they are too tired to walk it. Taxis are right out front and I can't imagine it would cost much if they wanted to do that.
