And more than likely Disney has already shut something down for refurb. (For example, Aladdin's last day is Sunday, August 15th). The weekend is busy, mainly with locals and some folks on the "edge" of being a local who stay for the weekend. Starting September 7th, you will find the park at the 10 to 8 hours, and IMHO, it is now the slowest time of the year (The period between Labor Day and the start of Halloween Time). Kids are basically just back to school, and are not given days off, as Teachers want to get the kids back in the "groove". It was not insanely busy, but lots of Disney fans in town for the convention = crowded evenings in time for fireworks and Fantasmic. Check and see if D23 is happening again that same time before booking a trip.
