Which is better or best? They all have their unique charms. There are definitely things at the other resorts that are outstanding, and make people wish those things were in Florida.

I've been to all the parks except Paris (so I haven't seen Disneyland Paris or Walt Disney Studios Paris). I hope to go there someday. As for the best parks, I'd have to say Disneyland in Anaheim and DisneySea in Tokyo. I also love Epcot and Animal Kingdom. On the other side, I'd have to say that Hong Kong Disneyland is the worst Disney park I've seen. Way too small and nothing to do.

I was there before the TOON STUDIOS and ToT additions I have been to: - 4 Florida parks - 2 California Parks - 2 French Parks I still need to see Tokyo and Hong Kong (or wait until Hong Kong is fixed and then go)

Although there is a good amount of overlap of Disney culture(rides, hotels, eats, cast member performances, fast pass/early entry, costs, shopping, parades and shows etc.)from one park or resort to another there are still glaring differences. Here is my list of favorite to least favorite and like irish my list seems to change a little bit with every visit. 1) Disney Sea....easily the best, nothing remotely close---attention to detail and physical scale astounds. 2) Dl Paris....very impressive visuals and eye candy abound. 3) EPCOT.... a huge park with so much to see and do and a brilliant departure from the "Magic Kingdom" style parks. 4) Dl Anaheim.... a fine park full of magic and memories; when LP members call it their favorite I can see why. 5) Animal Kingdom.... the most underrated park in the Disney park lineup. I am a very big fan! 6) Magic Kingdom.... the Haunted Mansion redo and the special nighttime engagements put this park back on the map for me again. But it still needs help. 7) Tokyo Dl.... too much of the park feels outdated now but deep down it still carries so much true Disney spirit. 8) Hollywood Studios(MGM).... always enjoyable but far inferior compared to the likes of a Disney Sea or DLP. 9) HK Disneyland.... what is there I like BUT it is just way too anemic on its attraction lineup--- how about $1 billion more in additions to make this a bonafide 1 day awesome visit! 10) & 11) DCA and WD Studios Paris are equally forgettable but for different reasons. I hate, hate, HATE DCA's theme and execution of that theme. And the Paris Studios is just ugly to look at---a waterless, treeless baron wasteland of asphalt.

The thing I think makes a HUGE difference is the fact the park is built on levels...what an awesome concept! It really makes the park feel "vast" while at the same time not taking up all that much space.

Originally Posted By barboy "***physical scale astounds*** because in reality Disney Sea is not a very big park believe it or not." I see where I wasn't clear...... by physical scale I should have said the architecture/buildings/Props. Show buildings and facades are ***MASSIVE*** compared to other Disney parks: the absolutely colossal Mt. Prometheus volcano, the full size(or illusion of full size) steam ship/ocean liner and intimidating Hightower building(TOT) in American Harbor, the very extensive and tall facade of the Indiana Jones temple, all the large scale fronts of Arabian Coast and even the Mira Costa towers over the entry plaza---things are just big at Disney Sea and I dig it! EPCOT has some large scale architecture too but since the park is so sprawling and occupies a lot of real estate it doesn't overwhelm me like Disney Sea does. There is something else that is very profound about Disney Sea and I failed to bring this up earlier----- the park, unlike any other Disney offering, has hills which give it a more 3 dimensional, realistic feeling. I love how we get to change elevation by walking around the park.
Originally Posted By barboy "<<But it still needs help.>> ?? They are redoing a lot of things." Yes, they are---- I agree with you(that's why I specifically brought up perfect HM redo). But some new stuff like Monsters Laugh Floor just doesnt cut it for me. I don't like Turtle Talk so naturally I don't care for MLF either. Stitch is still there---- the most abominable and disgusting attraction in the history of theme parks. Pooh's playground is but one notch better than a kids' play area at your local McDonalds. Space Mountain badly needs an overhaul to bring it up to DL Anaheim and HKDL standards--- complete with a new smoother track, on board sound system and new props and effects.
Originally Posted By barboy "I'd probably give TDL the edge over the Magic Kingdom" I hear you, it's interesting that you brought that up because when I was making the list that was the hardest part..... deciding which of those two I like more.
Originally Posted By barboy "The thing I think makes a HUGE difference is the fact the park is built on levels...what an awesome concept!" Whoa nelly! I missed that earlier--- you beat me to it about the change in elevations around the park.

Especially compared to DL and DCA (which I'm most used to), TDS really gave me quite a workout. I didn't even realize until about an hour before closing, when I could suddenly hardly walk any more because I had done so much walking that day (it was empty, so I did everything several times, but not in the most logical order). I'm a fairly active person too, I don't think it would be any stretch to say that I probably walked at least 10 miles that day, along with taking about 350 pictures. I never really realized how much it was until the end of the day. (And I'm sure that the constant changing levels of the park made it feel worse).

I've also attended every significant anniversary since then - TDS 5th, DLP 10th & 15th, DL 50th etc. and every major attraction opening. I definitely couldn't even estimate how much time each year I spend inside a Disney park/resort - suffice to say it is too much.
