We have this same exact ride at Playland in Vancouver and my 6 year old Niece was able to ride. It really isnt a overly thrilling ride.

Really? Doesn't it provide the same sense of fun as the SS Swings (which are kinda fun, if not a headliner), only up high? Or is the swinging action itself not as fun?

Put it several hundred feet in the air, taking away all the scenery, and you have the general concept of Windseeker. I'm planning a trip to Knott's at some point this fall, so I might have to check this out. Hopefully it won't have a long line, since it really doesn't look that exciting, and might make me sick.

It eats up a lot of people, as the ride duration is relatively short.

But yeah, the swings are alot more fun to ride. Being low to the ground and spinning on a smaller diameter, the speed is more effective.

The only thrill on Windseeker is the wind hitting you in the face. And since glasses aren't allowed, my eyes began watering and that became irritating.

I did go on the old Parachute drop ride at Knotts once - pretty much enough to confirm for me my distate of such heights.
