My kids have never been to the ocean so I'd like to do that on at least one of the days (suggestions on how to do it welcome!). Which days do you think are best to go the park? I have a 14, 12, & 7 year old. The older girls are very hardy and can do open to close. The 7-year old, I'm not so sure about, but it's his first trip so who knows? We are staying at Ho Jo's. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

You may have a little resistance from the kids about getting up so early, but once they see that they can ride Space Mountain multiple times with less than 5 minute waits, they will approve.

    Have a great trip!

Otherwise I would just see how the course of the trip goes. If the kids are pooped by the third day, have a beach day during the day and maybe head back to the park in the evening. Saturdays and Sundays are always going to be more crowded.

However, am willing to sacrifice as I LOVE the idea of riding rides over and over with no lines! As I understand it, we only get 1 Magic Morning with a pass (staying at HoJo's, not onsite) so we'll use it well. Thanks again!

Driving directions to Huntington Beach Pier, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
23.5 mi – about 31 mins (up to 45 mins in traffic)
    Suggested routes:

    Disneyland Anaheim, CA

    1. Head north on S Disneyland Dr toward W Magic Way 0.7 mi
    2. Merge onto I-5 S via the ramp to Santa Ana 7.6 mi
    3. Take the exit onto CA-55 S toward Newport Beach 10.2 mi
    4. Take the ramp to CA-1/Pacific Coast Hwy/West Coast Hwy 0.2 mi
    5. Turn right at CA-1/Pacific Coast Hwy/West Coast Hwy
Continue to follow CA-1/Pacific Coast Hwy 4.9 mi
    6. Turn left at Main St 43 ft

Huntington Beach Pier Huntington Beach, CA 92648

We generally go up Harbor Blvd. but I can't remember how to get to the PCH. I can see it in my mind, but I could not tell you the names of the streets to do it. The above directions are from Google maps Huntington Beach Pier has beachwear shops, surf shops and stuff like that. Also, on Main street is Wahoo's Fish Tacos, which sound gross, but they are really yummy. However, if fish is not your thing, then they also have chicken tacos. It looks like a little hole-in-the-wall place, but it probably will be busy so you will know it. It is worth the wait.

    Have fun!
