    Oh, we also do volunteer work for Disneyvoluntears. They help out around the community and help feed the homeless. That isn't donating money, though, but donating time.

    I donate the most time to helping create a local haunted house + midway here. It takes a couple of months' work to set it all up. All of the money raised through admission, game booths and food booths goes to an assortment of local charities and community organizations (different ones each year). It's fun but it means giving up a lot of weekends from late August through Halloween.

    Those are the top ones- with the trust funds I manage more are included but my brain is fried to list them...

    As many long-time LPers know, this horrendous disease has killed many members of my family - the most recent (3 in the last 20 years, 2 of them in the last year and a half alone) were my Daddy in Sept 1990, and his cousins Troy in April 2009 and then Connie this year in February.

    I have given money from every paycheck to ALSA over the last 10 years and will continue to do so as long as I can.
