I wanted to break up our week long trip to an offsite hotel and one on site. what are your favorites and why? I was looking at HoJos and Disneyland Hotel.... Not sure though. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated! We haven't been to DL in a few years and this is for my oldest sons graduation, so I want it to be special as he will be going away to college right after. Thanks in advance!

They have family suites as well as joining rooms (depending on how old your teens are).

If you keep your eye on the Retro Rates, 2 rooms would be cheaper than 1 room at DLH.

If you book your room before Retro rates become available, you can change it after they become available.

as far as crowds, to me, it's always busy now. But since it'll be almost a year since Carsland opened, they should have died down around DCA.

Disneyland is always crowded, but I chalk it up to the narrow walkways and wider people. :p

I've stayed at Hojo a few times now, including an 11 night visit in 2010.. I can't fault the place and great rates. The staff have always been incredibly helpful as well.. Really going beyond what I expect for somewhat budget accommodation.

    I like that...

I haven't been in a while but I like the Hyatt Regency Orange County. Especially when I get it at a good rate on Priceline.com.
