It could possibly go into the hollywood backlot. it would probably have to be on a smaller scale but it would be a way to draw in the crowds to dca that disneyland normally gets during the holidays and this would put dca almost on par with disneyland as far as xmas decorations and xmas shows go. I think this really could work! What do you guys think?

Light shows are popular in Florida. I don't know why they wouldn't be at DCA.

It takes a long time to set them all up, so they have large areas blocked off for a couple weeks to do it. In DCA it would be smaller so it wouldn't take as long, but it would still take up a lot of space that they just don't have. The other thing is that although it looks great at night, it looks horrible during the day with the exposed strings of lights covering everything. Knowing the super critical AP market in California, I don't think that they would be very forgiving of this, especially when DCA needs all the help it can get in the theming department. That said, I think it would be really neat to see something like that show up in California. I've never seen it in Florida, so it might give me a chance to, which would be great.

20th Century Fox has recently re-issued 6 of Rodgers and Hammerstein's films .. with A LOT of care put into them .. ESPECIALLY "Carousel". On the disc ... is a feature to listen to the isolated soundtrack (no dialog). At one point is the "Carousel waltz" as carousel music, like any carousel like King Arthur's in Fantasyland.

    So what's my point? ;) ... get'n there...

Just a dream that if Garden Grove had the true ambition, money, etc .....

I would love a Rodgers and Hammerstien theme park! :) With a carousel with music from the actual 1956 film. :D

Just a wild thought ... But their music is so timeless - for any generation.

It would be a theme park with classic appeal! :)

Okay .. back to Garden Grove and their ambitious dreams.

The street was made for it and It would relieve some pressure off of DIsneyland for the holidays during the days we restrict access. I am suprised they havent done it yet.

The grizzley pass allready has snow level markers and could serve as a wonderful winterwonderland.

Add some elements of snow around the tree lines and occasionally have the machines turn on and give people a taste of a snow storm up at grizzley mountain pass

They'd have to stay open till 8 PM or so to really make the lights make sense for the park.
