Not that thats a bad thing, i know one of the biggest complaints about dca was that there were not enough charecters but too me this seems like a little too much of a good thing and it seems like it will be overload. and i've always felt that some of the most popular and longest lasting attractions are original ideas i.e jungle cruise, pirates and huanted mansion, I also like these rides more becuase you have no idea what there going to be like and are really able to enjoy it and be pulled into the magic as you don't know what will happen on the ride. Where as with one based on a movie, If you've seen the movie you kind of know how it's going to go, and how it will end. and i know that john lassiter has a big say about imagineering and he's going to want to make rides based on his movies which is fine, but I hope he also branches out and does original rides too, like the ones disney used to make. what do you guys think about the new dca???

Carsland as a route 66 area with realistic cars, instead of the fairground characterisation, make it a perfect vision of turn of the century entertainment. How many LPers love Disneyland because of the animation? Personally I always preferred Loony Tunes (blasphemy, I know)

Careeninig down a materhorn bobsleigh run. Travelling through liquid, inner and outer space. Seeing dinos from a steam train. Great themed shows, restaurants and shoping. In the banquet of DL, the characters were always the parsley.

There really is no effort put into quality entertainment as a product, there is always now a product in the product. Its all advertising for one product inside of a product you already paid for. Its like inserting Wall.E into every scene in Snow White DVD. Artistic integrity be damned. Rides are nothing but advertising opportunities to Disney these days.
