They are offering the AP7 rates for now through December 18, 2008 which start at
$139 for the Paradise Pier Hotel.
You need to call to get the other rates as the Hotel Calendar is no longer on the site.
Not that it was accurate anyways!
I considered this offer for a minute and then calculated that the cheapest room would cost about $173.00 with tax and the resort fee.
I already have reservations at Hojo's for a premium disney view room at the Entertainment rate of $85.00 a night with taxes, no extra fees!
So I am happy to say that I'm staying at Hojo's and I will have an extra $88.00 a day to spend on Disneyland goodies!
So for everyone out there that is interested, there is special rates and I am not taking any of the available rooms!

I wanted to book a weekend in December, but they have no AP rates for the weekends starting last weekend of Nov. Wish I could go during the week, but the kids are older and can't miss more than a day of school here and there. I guess I just have to be happy with one DLH trip a year. I'll have to check south harbor for Dec rates. Forgot to mention...the guest relations person I spoke to said the AP offer had only been out since yesterday afternoon and they were swamped with phone calls! I called at 6:59 am this morning and got through, LOL!!!!

On this trip, I am coming with my best friend only and I know that we are going to spend even less time in our room as we plan to open the park every morning and close the park every evening and have late dinner reservations on the evenings it closes at 8:00.
We also need the extra walk to Hojos to burn up all those extra calories!
Hope you both get the rooms you want at the hotels you want and have a fabulous time!

I do know that the rate for a DTD view room for DLH in Dec was $189 with a jump to $300 for the blockout nights.

I assume that by the amount of times you are going, that you live within driving distance.
If we didn't have to put out all the money for airfare and went often enough that we didn't feel the need to spend every minute possible in the parks, I would probably stay at one of the resort hotels too!

We are lucky we don't have to add airfare!
Our trips tend to be pretty mellow and lots of fun if it's just the 2 of us :)

Then I booked Nov 30 to Dec 3rd for seven of us. I was getting two rooms at DLH (all they had left were view rooms at $189) when by the time my transaction was finished, one room was gone. All that was left then was way too expensive concierge, so I booked the second room at PPH at $149. It's so good we all got what we wished for. amazedncal2, We drive from the Bay Area too; just south of San Fran.

My husband always says that even if I was rich, I would buy my toilet paper at Wal-Mart!
    Of course!
Why would I pay more than I have to for anything!
Have a great time at the Disneyland Hotel!

We stay 2 nights, 4 times a year and only one if them (if we are lucky) at the resort hotels. That is how we can afford to go so much (we live in San Diego) because we stay on South Harbor most of the time and stay at different hotels with a good rate. Hojos is great! The main thing is walking down main street when you first arrive smelling the waffle cones and smiling because you know you have arrived and look forward to a good vacation! Hope you next trip is a great one!

LOL about the toilet paper. I am like that about some things too. If coke is on sale, I buy coke, pepsi on sale, I buy pepsi (helps that I don't drink it.) I never buy anything at Mervyn's or Kohl's if it isn't on sale because I know that it will be on sale the next week. Sometimes we'll head to DLR a 1/2 day early and stay at a hotel in Santa Clarita but only if I can get it for free by exchanging our Am Express points. I love a deal. DH is adamant (long story) about staying at the DLR hotels and the price gags me (love the hotels however:) so when we get a discount it's like found $$! Thanks again for the tip!

You must really have to be restraining yourself not to "help" your daughter more!
I know I find it very hard not to give "too" much advice!
susanmckay20, I know that I will have a great time staying at Hojos as we have stayed there on many occasions and is my hotel of choice.
We did stay at the Disneyland Hotel for 6 nights on our last trip in May and if we didn't have to consider the price, we would stay onsite but otherwise we are big fans of Hojos.
Our problem is that we want to spend every last minute at the parks and Downtown Disney and don't spend enough time enjoying the hotel.
I told friends of mine that the DLH was wonderful, I just wish it wasn't at Disneyland and then we could just spend a few days there enjoying all the amenities of the hotel!
I know, it is a little weird to wish the Disneyland Hotel wasn't at Disneyland but it is just how I feel!
We live in Vancouver, BC and we have been extremely fortunate this past year as we got APs this year have been to Disneyland twice and spent a total of 23 days and I get to go again in September!
No one we know has spent that much time at Disneyland in total!
San Diego is beautiful! My friend and I are opting to leave Disneyland for two days to spend two days in your beautiful city!

I would be happy to help search or pick up tickets for you if you need it. Also another neat place to visit is Coronado Island. You drive over by bridge, you can go the the beach, rent a big bycycle for up to 6 people, take the ferry accross to San Diego and shop at Seaport Village(15 min boat trip and fun, touristy shopping). Let me know if you need assistance!
