Originally Posted By ecdc I'd say medium gore factor so far. This is probably a PG-13 movie if that helps. I think they're repeating the episodes fairly regularly and if you have a service that offers On-Demand, they're available on there as well. It is playing out similar to 24, only each episode is one day, so the whole thing unfolds over a 13 day period. But this isn't intrusive to the story - there's no ticking clock or constant reminders of where the story's at.

On CSI-type shows there is often a jokey, glib attitude and then the fly-through-the-wound CGI graphics, it sort of allows you to never get fully engaged emotionally. In "The Killing" you see how a single death affects all these other people around her. You feel their grief and pain even as evidence is being collected and various people are being questioned.

And I loved in this week's episode when the imam (should that be capitalized Imam? I don't know) told them to come to the evening prayer service if they wanted to find about 40 gentlemen named Muhammad. heheh
