    2. That I went through 2010 in really good health. Consider the stress, I cross my fingers, have been pretty healthy. Some sinus battles but nothing major.

    3. That my mom continues to be the tough cuss that she is. The iron horse as we call her. Sixty six years old with the energy of a 30 year old. She is amazing. Quick witted, lethal humor, smart, very much involved in the world, not afraid to challenge herself and continue to try new things, big heart and rock solid faith.

    The Little Things:
    1. Probably took 3 of my top rated vacations ever this year. Feel extremely fortunate to have done so. Have had a blast touring the East with my mom. A lot of laughs, first times, and wonderful experiences!

    2. That my 10 year old 4Runner with 150,000 miles still purrs.

    3. Facebook: it keeps in contact with my family and friends so it doesn't feel like we are on an island out here in the East all by ourselves.

I have more but I'll leave it at that. ;>

I am thankful for a roof over my head and a decent job to pay for some of life's little luxuries as well as the necessities

I am thankful that my kid made it to 21 without any major incident. She's a great kid who I am very glad to call my daughter. If she were anything like I was at that age, I'd have a shrink on speeddial.

I am thankful that after all of the layoffs and paycuts and madness here at work that I still have a job, and that I'm trusted enough to now be training for a possible promotion.

I am thankful that this year shed a lot of light on the company that I used to keep. I am in a much better place now - my soul is rested and my head is on straight.

I am thankful that I took an interest in cooking. It is very calming to me and there is nothing better than having a dish come out just right.

I am thankful for Frontierville. (insert crowd belly laughs here). Really, I am thankful for it. It allowed me hours of free entertainment during my paycut when I was tired of reading or watching TV.

I am thankful for my uncle who, even though he's nutty, bought me a refrigerator when mine died and I couldn't afford it.
