Call or go online to order my card, allowing plenty of time before my trip (Oct 21), requesting a transfer of all but $20 of my balance. When my statement for the next monthly period ends just days before my trip (therefore reflecting a new balance of Dream Dollars just earned ), and I may view my statement online before I have received it in the mail, I could then call and transfer the remaining balance, including the $20 I left in just in case, making my balance zero and having the option to use every dollar I have earned thus far while I am at the parks? I'm thinking I might try to do some Christmas shopping, and most likely will easily use up the entire balance of the card. Whew! Does that make sense - and does it sound right to you?

!. If you are using the Reward Dollars to purchase admission tickets to DL at the box office you can use the Reward Dollars the way you stated above.

    AND/OR

    2. I prefer to go to City Hall at DL and get a Reward Card. Then Call the 800 number on the back of your new Reward Card (Just ask a Cast Member to use the phone or you can use your Cell.) Chase will transfer your points immediately and you can spent until the Reward Card is empty.

The first time you transfer points to the Reward Card it must be at least $20.00. After the first time you can transfer $10.00 or more.

And maybe I'll see you at Disneyland.

But, if you are like me I always have more wants than rewards so emptying a rewards card is never a problem.

2 things that I have found out-1 always know what your balance is. We had one CM tell me that my card was empty and did I want her to throw it away for me. I knew that I had about $27 left on it so I took my card back and called the company which verified my balance left.

2-The strip on the back does contain some of your info so I always destroy any old empty rewards cards. I know that you can always refill them but why when they would be subject to whatever expiration date is on the card? Just order a new rewards card when you plan on going on vacation again.

Safetywise, the rewards card is like cash, not like a credit or debit card that you can report stolen and not lose anything. When you have it loaded up with all your rewards, you don't want it to get lost or stolen. That's why I use it all up first, as soon as I get there.

That one card is good for the whole year but your rewards on the card will expire when the card does. So, don't transfer any rewards to that card close to the expiration date. If you are nearing the year's end, they will give you a new card but won't let you transfer rewards from the old card to the new card.

We've had the same experience as dlkozy with the cast member saying our card was empty and he did not even return it to us! Luckily I asked and then 2 day later when our statement was done, I called the number on the back of the card and instantly had more money to spend. Really, it only takes about a minute!

Oh, and you will spend it all right away-lol! So long to earn and so quick to spend...
