The CHA Winter Convention and Trade Show was held on January 28-31, 2007 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

Almost 2 weeks earlier than it is this year-Feb 10-13. So-not only will people have the possible crowds from CHA it will also be Valentine's Day the day after the end of the convention and leading into a 3 day holiday weekend, Monday the 19th is President's Day.

So, yeah, IMHO there IS a need to watch those dates!

Monday, February 11th is a Holiday for many schools, and some government workers, creating a three day weekend.

Thursday the 14th is Valentines Day, which makes it hard to get a meal reservation, as many locals will visit, especially in the evening.

Then there are extended hours from Friday the 15th thru Sunday the 24th, as more and more schools are getting a full week of for Presidents Day. Disney expands its operating hours when they expect large crowds.

So if someone is basing sthere trip on the convention alone, I would not avoid going during this time. I can't tell you if there are other activities going on. All I am talking about is the convention. Darkbeer has been gracious enough to point out there are other activities that are going on during that time that may impact the park. The convention did not in 2007.

We will be there with my brother in law who works for Google.

I remember going to a site that had all of the Anaheim conventions listed, along with the expected attendance. Anyone know that link?
