Same for TOD, the original Tapestry was great with the passing of time being a great nostagic theme, but now as it was without the Sage of Time and those obnoxious voice overs mixed with the music, they simply made it unwatchable for me. I know a lot of folks like this parade but i think it has run it's course. Rest in pieces TOD. You'll be remembered as a good thing.

I think I've seen it about a dozen times or more while I was there last, but then I also caught the other - Tapestry of Dreams. That one was ok, but could not measure up to the first. The first one had a majestic overture about it, while dreams was kinda blah. Hopefully Disney people will also few these discussion boards and will decide to bring back the original [crossing fingers]

I think the best part was the amount of interaction these characters had with the audience. Never had I seen a parade where the "ropes" were broken so many times. I know the new idea is to incorporate the characters (at least from rumors I have heard), but I hope they keep the mystique of Epcot. I would love to see a parade with solid floats representing each country with the characters grouped around them. And, bring back the Sage in some way. THe pictures of him I have seen just look cool. Here's to taking the best ideas of the past and combining them with new ideas of the future! (Oh wait, wasn't that the premise of EPCOT all along? ;-) ) Wonderful job on the review, by the way. I found myself feeling that choked up feeling during parts of it, and the music was definitely running through my head the entire time.
