We kind of want to be close to the pool, and monorail so the older kids can come and go as they please. We have never stayed there, so any advice is helpful. Thanks

that being said, the only time we have stayed there we were in the lobby tower on the lobby side (not the pool side) and could see the fireworks from our room. i didn't ask for it its just where they put us.

It is strange since all the construction is completed, correct? So what's up? Am I crazy? Really would like to know cause I would prefer the balcony. Next time I visit I will check this out again and try to go up on the elevators.

They will be allowed entry into DL and DCA during the day but the "party" begins in DCA overnight, I think...

You could lean out the door against the railing but that was about it.

I find the DVC balconies an excellent place to store your Styrofoam cooler full of cheap snacks and sodas from WalMart. The ground floor patios at Old Key West are especially nice. The dense foliage surrounding them makes it easy to dispose of empty beer cans and dump your ash trays over the railing.

    ;-) ;-) LOL
