At WDW you have to be either damn lucky to see Mickey out in the park or you have to go stand in line at his house to see him. I have noticed historically that the characters are not only dispersed throughout the park at DL but sometimes seem to actually roam around as well. AWESOME ! I love that so much.

They used to do likewise at the MK too. But then the whole autograph deal took off and parents became truly obnoxious, so much so the characters were often in danger. So, now you don't get the simple joy of walking thru the MK and bumping into Donald in Cindy's castle. Or seeing Goofy roaming thru Tomorrowland in his space suite.

It's a shame, but it's the guests fault.

That was just at Busch Gardens. I can't imagine what the world wide Disney Characters must go through. It's true that it is the guests that limit the interaction with characters.

I don't like to fan flames, but your full of it WDWtechie.

    This is a total lie!

The only time Mickey is in front of the castle right now is during Extra Magic Hours (Morning & evening), photo shoots, filmings, etc...

I know Mickey well since I'm friends with him & wdwtechie is not one of them... In fact one of Mickeys best friends has been so since the mid 80's..
