"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Actually, I'm Californian born and raised.

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

    Bah!

    The Northeast
    Philadelphia
    The Midland
    The South
    Boston
    The West
    North Central

At least i'm in the right general area unlike Sir Book.

I'm California born and raised, too, however I'm frequently told I sound like I'm from the mid-west. I have a lot of family in Oklahoma, so maybe it's genetic, LOL

LOL! Nah, don't be scared, Tall. You're a good guy and have been a great friend and I think that 52% just shows your "sensitive" side - and that is a good thing and one of the things we all love about ya.

    I don't know *what's* going on with DAR's girlfriend score. ;p

I scored 84% as perfect girlfriend and I have an accent from "The West" (which makes sense since I was born and raised in Southern California).

I wonder if the fact that I'm an old married woman is affecting my score? (Well, that and the fact that I can freak out with the best of them when I'm under too much stress. Yikes! LOL.)
