I love hearing Walt give the dedication speech. It really gets me teary. When this was done we went to Adventureland and got FP for Indy and then over to NOS where the Bootstrappers kept us occupied for awhile. We just walked around enjoying the atmosphere and checked for FP for Splash but it was down so over to Frontierland and we took a ride on the Mark Twain. I love circling the river. After that we went to the Golden Horseshoe and caught a different Billy act and then walked over to Main Street to Coke Corner and got chili dogs for lunch. We sat and enjoyed the area there then rode the horse trolley down Main Street. This horse was only 4 years old and they had a strap hanging by his face for him to chew on, it was funny. We bought some card decks in a couple of shops and just enjoyed shopping for awhile. Matt bought a magic coin book in the magic shop and spent the day reading that and trying out tricks. We also bought the dvd Newsies as this is one of Matt’s favorite movies. We rode the train full circle from Main Street and to NOS where we waitied around 35 minutes for Pirates because it broke down while we were in line. But it worked out, because some people gave up and left the line and it was only down out 10 minutes! Finally Splash was up so we got FP for that. We sat in NOS at my park and I people watched and Matt read his magic book. It was nice and shady and a slight breeze was blowing. Love time like that in the park. We finally got up and rode the train to Toon Town and played around there for awhile. We decided we’d like to see Snow White’s show again so over to the theater we went. After the show we walked to Carnation Gardens and found a nice shady table and Matt tried some coin tricks out on me and we sipped our bottle water and ate some candy we had bought earlier. This became our favorite place to sit and relax the rest of our trip. There is hardly anyone there, has a nice bathroom and lots of shade. We loved it. Next we went over and got a FP or BTMRR and then decided we wanted to see Fantasmic! So we got a great spot down front and I had a beach towel in my backpack and we spread it out and sat and waited for the show. We had our new card decks so we pulled them out and passed the time playing card games. We had a great time. The two hours flew by. Now I think Fantasmic! Is my favorite show at Disneyland. I absolutely love it. And it is best seen right down on the waterfront of the Rivers of America. What a great time we had. Afterwards we watched the fireworks from there and then we did HM and SplashM. Next we rode Indy and had a 25 minute wait even with FP’s! So by then it was too late to get on anything else so we walked back to the shuttle and to our room by 11:40pm. Goodnight Disneyland.
