My 20 month old is absolutely IN LOVE with Winnie the Pooh, so I can't wait to see how excited she is to see him this time. Anyway, I just wanted to share this with all of you. Our APs run out on Thursday, and I didn't think we'd be able to squeeze another trip in.

Cute story...when my little girl was very young (about 4) she was at home with her Daddy as he got off work earlier than I at the time. Well, I get this frantic call from my husband while I was at work. My daughter was crying (which she never did even as a tiny tot because she was/is always so bubbly) and he didn't know what to do..so he called me. I asked what was wrong and he said she broke her "special grown-up" Disney glass a.k.a. a real glass versus the plastic ones. So, I told him to put her on the phone. Me: Hey sweetheart, don't cry...its okay, its just a glass. Daughter: *sniffle, sniffle* But its my special glass, the one from Disneyland mommie! Me: Its okay! Really! I bet I know what would make you feel better.... Daughter: What? Me: You want to drive to Disneyland tonight and get a new one? Daughter: REALLY? We can? Me: Yep! You just tell Daddy to start packing and when I get home we'll go. And that was our first spur-of-the-moment trip. It was a unexpected 7-hour drive, but it was awesome! Luckily she broke her glass on a Thursday night, which also happened to be leading into a 3-day holiday weekend. When we got to the park it was so crowded we barely rode any of the rides, but we didn't care...we just enjoyed being in Disneyland!!

She would tell me to quickly take a bath because we were driving (about 7 hours att) to Disneyland that night! I would quickly take that bath in this dream state b/c I was so exited! We always went for just one day (Sat.) back then, but as I'd never heard of a TWO days at an amusment park,LOl, so it was just as majical to me! As for my kids go, we've picked them up from school and been about an hour down the road before they asked where we were going, LOL!
