Their shuttle on the ART line is very dependable AND with the Marriot's across the street-if you know what their ART bus number is, you can easily use whichever trolley shows up. Done that and it worked GREAT! We have also stayed at HoJo's and had both good and poor experiences. So-you are going to find both good and bad reviews for each. Let us know in a trip report how things turn out!

Also HoJo's does offer free parking and internet access, unlikek many convention hotels (nowadays it depends on the arrangement when you booked your room at the Hilton and other similar type place, the corporate, it is included, other rates, usually not). HoJo's is closer to the park (about 6/10th of a mile from the Front Lobby compared to about 1 mile from the Hilton (Using Harbor, the shorter route than going thru Timon). ART services both, and both have about 3 stops between the park and the hotels. As for the TripAdvisor reports, their is a BIG difference, but I think price paid has a main factor in the opinions at TA. Here are some SELECT hotels in the Anaheim top hotels at TA (out of 99 hotels in the city) 1. Candy Cane Inn 2. Doubletree Convention Center 3. Residence Inn Maingate (near AGW) 4. Ayers Hotel Anaheim 5. HoJo's 6. Anaheim Camelot Inn 7. GCH 8. Hotel Pepper Tree 9. Fairfiled Inn 10. Lemon Tree Hotel 11. Sheraton Park 13. PPH 19. DLH 25. Marriott 31. Motel 6 Disney Way 47. Hilton Anaheim As I said, the more you pay, the more you expect. So check prices and what you really need. Do you need room service? A bar in the lobby? A bell person? Or do you just need a nice place with a clean room and a great staff? It is up to you. I tend to prefer the lower price in most cases, but not the bottom rung (aka the Roadway or Parkside

The gym is extra, too. The standard rooms are standard and we didn't think the restaurant was all that great. Their front desk folk are professional. Hilton Garden Inn is farther up the street (Harbor Blvd) and it costs less than Hilton proper and they have a big breakfast buffet ($9 per person) in the mornings. Their parking is free and they share the ART stop with the Embassy behind them. The staff are fine (not great), their pool is small and cold (outside), but the rooms are big and clean. Have a great trip!!
