I just called Vacation Planning and spoke with Gina who told me the 4th night free offer is only valid for the Disneyland Hotel, not the GCH. I told her I had the offer in front of me and it says it's valid for all the Disney property hotels. She put me on hold and then said it's not available for the dates I picked at the GCH (Oct 9-14). I asked to change my reservation for any date in October and she said the offer is not valid for the entire month of October. The advertisement I have states that the offer begins Oct. 1 so I don't know what's going on. It's frustrating because I waited a long time to make my reservation because I knew they would have the 4th night free offer. When I kept calling, one of the CMs told me they could apply the offer to an existing reservation if they had the 4th night free offer this year. But now they are saying October isn't available.

Anyway thanks again for your help!

Did you call Walt Disney Travel at 1-800-824-1146?

I've heard the Grand is just about filled for October already. Any way you can bump your trip to November? We stayed there last November, and it is so nice with all the holiday decorations up.

    Good Luck!

Tinkerbell77, it's worth a try to call and see if they can apply the offer...I made my reservation through the Disney Travel Co, not the hotel directly. At first, the CM I spoke with today, Gina, told me the offer could only be applied to brand new reservations but that's not what the last CM told me so that's when she told me to speak with her supervisor, Ellie, who said it can be done in some instances. It feels like I'm trying to use frequent flyer miles...the Fall offer only recently came out and yet all the available rooms/suites at the discounted offer have already been taken. If we can't get the deal that's fine but I guess what bugs me is being told completely different things, depending on who I'm talking to at the Disney Travel Co.

MickeyMommy, I'm surprised to hear the Grand is nearly full for October. I thought we picked a low-crowd week but now am not so sure. Oh well, it will be fun no matter what!
