The mazes have different names and they didnt have 3-d mazes last time I went. (you wear 3-d glasses and the paint stands out making it a little bit wierder, but not much). There were only 7 mazes. They were too overly lit so the monsters didnt really hide because you could see them anyways. Also there were large chunks in mazes that didnt have anything or anything in them. So overall, both were overpriced, knotss was just waaaay to crowded to even begin to enjoy. The queen mary wasnt as crowded but its fright level was very low. I hope that magic mountain is better. But ill have to wear my bullet proof vest and watch out for stabbings.

The 3D images really jumped out at you. I wish there had been more monsters in it but it was the end of the night and we actually saw quite a few leaving before we even got in the maze. We probably had the most fun in the Vampires maze, which was funny cause before it's been my least favorite. My daughter ran into one monster that had scared all three of us ahead of her and he was laughing so hard he was falling over. She asked him what he was doing and he said he couldn't stop laughing. This is the first time I have noticed the monster talking to you as you walk through the mazes. One dressed as a football player asked my daughter to meet him under the bleachers at midnight. I was unimpressed with The Hanging. I liked the choice of the person but the show itself was a let down. They pick on Disney quite a bit in the first few minutes which I found very funny, but that was about it. I find each year the audience watching The Hanging gets less and less involved and it takes some of the fun out of it. I think I've been to Haunt 4 or 5 times now and this was my least favorite. However, I'll be back next year! Oh and the past two years we have had people cut in the line right in front of us. This year my daughter stood up to the two and she got them kicked out of line. Some people are just so rude anymore. Sure takes the fun out of things.

Afterwards we headed to the Zamora show and got front row seats right in front of the electrified lady. That was way cool, and maybe the scariest thing of the evening! We noticed A LOT more interaction from the ghouls than in years past (except for Feary Tales and Asylum ). They came VERY close, talked to us in creepy voices, and brandished fake weapons and stuff RIGHT in front of us. At least once they even made contact, tho not purposely. But that's how close they were. Anyway, it was great, and Wednesday rocks! I wasn't sure if it would be a little crowded as a lot of kids had today off (Jewish holiday), but it was very quiet. They said they expected 16,000 but I have no idea what the actual attendance was.
