A cast member friend of ours has actually been saying, for some time, that both Beauty & the Beast and The Little Mermaid shows would be going away after the current Fantasyland expansion is finished at the Magic Kingdom.

ORWEN: And the Beauty & the Beast Stage show has been around for so long I guess it's time it was retired. Same with The Little Mermaid, I suppose.

ORGOCH: Yeah, but how's they gonna' keep Rapurplepunzel from trippin' over all that dang hair if'n they tries ta put her up on stage like that? And what would Mama Brothel have ta say 'bout the whold thing?

I haven't heard anything about that location since shortly after the Tangled version opened, but I assume it's still the same thing.

As for the BATB show at the Studios, it needs replacing badly. It's a rubberhead show of that era, and theme park entertainment has advanced a lot in the last 20 years (has it really been running for 20 years?!). Now that BATB will have a more advanced show-type presence in MK, it only makes sense that they would try to replace the show at the Studios. While VOTLM could also use an update/replacement, it is in much better shape than BATB. I think that replacing both of these would help breathe some fresh air into the park, as they've been playing the same shows almost as long as the park has been open.

    Bring on the hair!!!

I don't think I could ever handle loosing the Aladin show in DL. If only we could get that show somewhere in WDW.

Oh well, hopefully it is better than the poor excuse of a show that has been running for so long.

But Tangled is certainly more of a probability than your idea, even though yours makes more sense. Remember, we don't get non-cartoon additions anymore.

I do not want Snow White to disappear in Fantasyland and I will be sad to see Belle and Ariel shuttered in the HS.
Honestly seeing the "Frog" Princess and Prince(?) and Tangled person(?) in the recent WDW parades...not very inspiring...
I dislike to be disappointed by Disney.

Sez you, dave. I LOVE this show (both shows, really). But they have both been running for quite a while, and it wouldn't kill me to see something new (and hopefully better!).
