Anyhowwwwwwww, courtesy of Antone's, I was introduced to a wonderful young musician named Gary Clark, Jr. WOW, what an amazing talent. And I've gotten to see Bobbby Blue Bland and Pinetop Perkins there. Just wow, the amazing acts that are at Antone's on a regular basis just FLOORS me. So, Antone's is currently gearing up to celbrate their anniversay once again, and I will be seeing in the near future the following: Eric Johnson playing a show comprised of Jimi Hendrix's music. If you're a music geek at all, you'll get what a MASSIVELY BIG DEAL this is. That show is 17 June. Then on 4th of July weekend, on the 2nd and 3rd, I get to see my beloved Storyville reunite once again! The weekend after that, I'll be groovin' to the Arc Angels on the 9th and 10th of July. I LOVE MY CITY AND I LOVE OUR MUSIC SCENE! Ok, done gushing now. I'll continue happily bouncing off the walls in quite now.

AHH - yep! Eric Johnson is just amazing. First person I ever heard play 12-string oh so many years ago.
